The Prime Project: Development / Showcase Program
Anchored in excellence, The Prime Project is an immersive training environment designed for continuous growth.
What: Over six weeks, students will train with top choreographers across various styles, focussing on technique, foundations, freestyle, and musicality for aspiring Intermediate/Adv dancers aiming for their prime. Each weekly session blends premium instruction in body mechanics, strength, grooves, improvisation, and creative development, ensuring dancers build both skill and artistry. The programme culminates in a theatre showcase, where participants perform original pieces crafted through collaborative creation and concept building.
The Prime Project Audition-based entry guarantees a motivated cohort. Whether you’re seeking to refine your stagecraft, boost performance quality, or unleash your creative potential, The Prime Project offers a vibrant, intentional curriculum designed to elevate you those who’ve been training consistently.
The Prime Project will consist of choreographers from in and outside of the DUTI STUDIOS faculty.

The Prime Project Showcase Date
Saturday 30th May 2026
(You must be available all day for tech rehearsal and for the evening performance)
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
- There will be 8-10 Prime Project Choreographers to choose from.
- Each choreographer will work on foundations and techniques that revolve around their style.
- Choreographers will create a piece during your 2 hour weekly prime project session.
- A closing showcase with a performance in a theatre setting.

Entry into The Prime Project is by Audition Only.
Each choreographer will select their chosen dancers for their Prime Project.
Dancers/Students can audition and partake in a maximum of two Prime Projects.
If Successful, your placement into your chosen Prime Project is locked in once the program payment is received.
